Equipment
283/245hp, automatic, spinner wheel covers, whitewalls, later radio, dash clock, power steering, power brakes.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Good but older paint and chrome with a small blister on the roof. Scratching on some of the original body trim. The rocker trim also has a few small dings and doesn't fit flush with the body. Unusual cluster of chips on the rear glass. Uneven gaps. Very good interior. Body-off restored a long time ago, probably before Nomads were worth much money, and with a few corners cut.
Market commentary
This Nomad sold at Barrett-Jackson Orange County way back in 2010, when its restoration was fresher, for $55,000. Prices for '50s cars like this, even favorites like the '57 Nomad, have been fairly sleepy since then and this price today is as reasonable as its price in 2010 was.
