Market commentary
As is apparent from the price, this Century was the object of a classic B J bidding contest in which two Friday bidders were determined to go home with the car, which was very much the better of the two mid 50s Buick convertibles viewed and probably of the three on site, although the 55 and 56 were both Roadmasters. The underbidder may not have been the winner in this contest, but second best in this case is not cause for regret with a price that is easily double what it might have been expected to bring.
