Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Original engine modified in period for competition with competition cylinder head, competition manifolds and side-draft Webers. Restored ten years ago. Used but tidy engine bay and undercarriage. Small dent on the nose, crack on the right rear fender, a couple of long scratches on the tail and a chip on the edge of the driver's side door. Very good interior and chrome. Extensively used in vintage rallies in Europe, but not excessively spanked or wrecked. Its condition lends it to further use on vintage tours and rallies.
Market commentary
It isn't so much what this Aston is as what can be done with it that makes it attractive enough to bring this superior price.
