Equipment
RHD. Wire wheels, L1 engine with big valves and high lift cams. Owned by Le Mans winning driver Richard Attwood since the late 70s and languishing in his barn the whole time. Grille trim missiing. A celebrity barn find in dilapidated and neglected condition but appears to be complete in all important respects.
Market commentary
Red flags are waving vigorously when the auction company which peppers its boilerplate with as is, where is caveats feels it is necessary to repeat in the description sold strictly as viewed. This was the second old Aston barn find sold here for a breathtaking price although this ones Attwood ownership and L1 engine at least give it some intrinsic distinction from all the other DB2 4 Mk IIs out there.
