Equipment

324 240hp, automatic, wide white walls, AM radio, clock, P W, factory A C, power antenna. A very nice recent restoration with some orange peel and the hood fit is off. Saturday primetime.

Market commentary

The bidders must have thought this was a Motorama car ... Oh, but the F 88 hadnt crossed the block yet. There is no reason at all to pay this much for a standard production 56 98 convertible. Wonderful, luxurious automobiles they were, but they arent rare or particularly powerful. $50K for the car; $53K for the experience of papering the walls of the B J tent with Dead Presidents.
