Frua''''s work on Maserati chassis during the 50''''''''s is exceptional and nowhere better presented than here, a fact seemingly lost on the Quail Lodge bidders. It is a beautiful, balanced, attractively proportioned car that looks every bit as good today as a modern Maserati. It should have brought more and the Quail Lodge bidders missed a chance.
