Market commentary
Its somewhat amusing that RM cataloged this rebodied A6G 2000 as one of just 20 Zagato berlinettas, with no two completely alike. No kidding Its history, style and rarity nevertheless make it somewhat appropriate at this price considering that Gooding sold 2105 with its origil Zagato body at Pebble Beach in August of this year for $1,595,000. While that looks like a $487,000 discount for this rebody it is something different in the wake of the dollars recent swoon, GBP 700,000 and Euros 800,400 here against GBP 1,023,700 and Euros 1,249,300 just a few months ago for 2105. It pays to take into account the exchange rates, whether buying or selling.
