Equipment

RHD. Alloy body Tempero replica based on 67 Jag 420 chassis. Fin, hard passengers tonneau, polished alloy Dunlop style wheels. Independent rear suspension, Getrag 6 speed gearbox. Good paint and interior shows use. Some edge chips, tape marks on bodywork, some paint cracks. Saturday late night.

Market commentary

This is a very good offer for a car worth $50,000 or so. The dealer owner of this example thinks its worth $95K (the amount it was run up to at Kruse last weekend) but the last time Tempero replicas brought $90+K was a decade ago. The market was different and the cars were 10 years newer. At $50K a replica is a fun toy that can be used, enjoyed and turned over after a couple years of being snubbed by owners of real cars; at $95K it is an expensive and illiquid indulgence.
