Equipment
312/225hp, automatic, dual mirrors, wheel covers, whitewalls, Continental kit, fender skirts, power steering, pushbutton AM Radio.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Body has flat panels, but the doors are sagging and the trunk lid is misaligned. Good older paint. Some window trim is pitted, the bumpers have some scratches, and other trim is scratched in places as well. Some of the engine bay has gotten paint and detailing and looks excellent, but the lower engine is grimy and a brake fluid leak has damaged the finish on the firewall. Exhaust manifolds were recently media blasted. The dash has been wrapped in simulated leather. The steering wheel is worn and the lower dash and gauge panel faded and aged. Cloth on lower seat is wrinkled. The original frame shows mild surface rust and general wear. An older basic cosmetic restoration.
Market commentary
Even the Fifties' pink and black paint job couldn't overcome the mediocrity of this Ford's condition or its superficial attention. It brought a magnanimous price for what it is.
