Equipment

White steel wheels, later instruments, two Solexes, original engine now displacing 1720cc. No radio. Fair original interior worn as expected. Dull old taillight lenses. Chassis original. Decent repaint over a general frosting of Bondo. 67,855 miles and continuous history from new.

Market commentary

A nice early Speedster, perhaps flawed to the purist by its 1500 engine upgrade to 1720cc, but offset by the performance improvement. Overall shaky feel was not enhanced by its reluctance to respond to magnetism. The bid is only marginally unfair considering its condition.
