Equipment
1250cc/57hp, 4-speed, steel wheels with hub caps, Michelin XZX tires, tonneau cover, Moto-Lita woodrim steering wheel, wind wings, driving lights.
Condition
Represented as matching numbers. Raced in the 1970s and ‘80s but more recently restored and now a road car. Good, lightly aged paint and chrome. Very clean chassis. A little bit of older grime around the valve cover but mostly clean engine. Very good interior. Mild discoloration on the top and tonneau cover but nothing bad. A solid older restored TF that needs nothing to be proud of.
Market commentary
The TF is the last and arguably best-looking of the T-Series, with its canted back grille and more integrated headlights. It was still largely based on a prewar design and was something of a dinosaur when MG sold it during 1954-55, but after 70 years later its anachronistic nature doesn't matter as much. It's just an old car now, and not a particularly expensive one. And even by TF standards, this is a light result and a good deal and a solid example.
