Equipment
Plexiglas bubble top, luggage rack. An older restoration with heavily worn and polished paint. The plexiglas is scraped and scuffed and the chrome is slightly pitted. This Messerschmitt is okay for joyriding, conversation or as a parade car but needs more attention to be anything more.
Market commentary
These cars have a following but this example needs a lot of attention to be more appealing and more expensive. The price paid is reflective of that. It is auction tradition to follow a giant classic like the Father Divine Duesenberg with a microcar, a tradition honored here and validated by this realistic price for a mediocre Messerschmitt.
