Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Alloy body Gullwing extensively and creatively modified with supercharged experimental alloy V6 engine based on GM big block. Automatic trans, 9 Ford rear axke, digital instruments. Claimed to have 880hp but it breathes through two 40DCOE Webers which must be flowing at hypersonic velocities. Excellent cosmetics, billet wheels and steering wheel, suede headliner, excellent paint, luxurious interior and bright trim.

Market commentary

The owner claims hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent to create this parody of a Gullwing. The level of workmanship is uniformly high and technically impressive. The purpose is a mystery and it was obviously lost on the bidders at Auburn. The asking price is something like $1 4 million. Good luck to the Red Sox, too.
