Equipment
292/193hp with D-Code heads (?), aluminum intake, wheel covers, whitewalls, fender skirts, power seat, tach, power steering, radio.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Original engine. No hardtop. Paint is fair to good with minor scratches on front end and a major rub through on the driver's door jamb, which is sagging a bit. Chrome is well polished. Paint on the wheels is chipped. Interior has new carpet and upholstery but the gauges are faded and dusty. Engine compartment was restored but many surfaces now chipped and scratched. Underbody is restored and clean. A body-on restoration done to driver standards.
Market commentary
A straightforward, appropriate result for a car with no hardtop and in less than ideal condition. The car card's reference to 'D-Code heads' is a mystery. There was no D-Code in '55. Just a car for just a car money.
