4 cylinder factory GP car (S N 555 1) raced by Farina, Taruffi, Frere and Hawthorn, then modified and renumbered for Tasman series. Meticulous Tony Merrick restoration with original engine completed in 96, then demonstrated. Still very fine.
Market commentary
Ferraris 4 cylinder GP and sports cars are not as prized as the 12 cylinder cars but were successful and are important waypoints in the marques history. This car is well bought for its known history, quality restoration and charismatic looks.
