RHD. 1985cc 4 cylinder, 5 speed gearbox. Raced by Francois Picard and given the same chassis number as his 54 Mondial (0424 MD) to avoid Customs. Subsequently renumbered by Ferrari 0564 MD. Displayed since 56, freshened in 93, still very original.

Market commentary

In a market that values originality above all, this remarkably original example of the increasingly important 4 cylinder Ferraris should have attracted a higher bid. The chassis number muddle and repaint from Picards blue didnt help.
