Market commentary
While this result reflects the market for this car, it also is cause for reflection on the inherent value of a quality, Hemi powered Chrysler convertible in a market where a 55 Bel Air or Fairlane convertible in comparable condition would bring at least double the price. Long term (when the boomers who couldnt afford Bel Airs and Fairlanes in high school leave the market) the Chrysler may well prove to be a more secure, steady and financially rewarding possession.
