Equipment

Factory reused S N for 2nd series car in 1955 with revised bodywork, owned and raced by Peter Collins with little success. Restored by Forshaw to 55 configuration. Good recent paint and interior, otherwise in good condition with original engine & body.

Market commentary

Aston guys love their cars, but are badly ounumbered by Ferrari or Jag guys, which has an effect on value. This car is very nice, but its scrapped predecessor DB3S 2 has a better history. Might bring over $1 million, but could have been sold for the bid.
