About Hagerty’s condition ratingsClose

Advertised as an original with mechanical restoration. Tired paint with multiple chips, scrapes, dings, rust and some Bondo peeking out. Seals are poor and the passenger window is cracked. Mechanicals are in good order while the interior is more consistent with the rest of the car. A half restored car needing much more.

Market commentary

Estimate of $90K-$120K was beyond aggressive and the price paid is more in line for a #3 car, which this isn't. Further restoration work will likely put the buyer upside-down for quite a while.
