Also an uprated engine installed by Cunningham in period. Restoration done by experts at HK-Engineering in Germany.

Market commentary
Though this car carried an aggressive reserve of $3,500,000 to $4,500,000, it is so important that it’s difficult to see why middle ground couldn’t be found. One would think that Briggs Cunningham’s Gullwing would bring more than the high bid.
