RHD. One of several built for the Royal Commonwealth Tour in 1953 54 but not used for Royal conveyance and therefore not painted in the Royal Claret. Served for other dignitaries including figure skaters Torval and Dean. Retired in the late 80s. Said to be in running condition. BMIHT collection thinning. No Reserve.

Market commentary

For a Land Rover collector this is probably an important piece, certainly the price indicates its important. It is, however, somewhat hard to appreciate for the rest of us.
