Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, fender mirrors, Nardi steering wheel. An excellent older restoration now showing some paint flaws including a crack behind the hood and some thin chrome plating. Sold at the 1973 Cars of the Stars auction and possibly originally owned by Cary Grant. Very attractive colors.

Market commentary

This XK 120 had visual appeal and brought an enthusiastic response from the bidders in WPB. The price is, by any standard, generous for an older restoration like this. Some ageing Florida retiree in pursuit of a lady who idolized Cary Grant
