Condition

One of two GS-1s built by Ghia for Chrysler. Purchased by W. Alton Jones and eventually stored in Aspen carriage house. Discovered there in 1999 and restored to this magnificent condition. Very good older concours restoration to better than new. Shows a little age and use but still in beyond perfect condition.

Market commentary

RM sold the other one, known as the Thomas Special, at Amelia Island in 2006 for $715,000. This one is in better condition and it is surprising it didn't bring more. It is an excellent value at this price, no way about it.
