Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Basically a frame loosely (but conclusively) identified as a Maserati, possibly an A6GCM, extensively modified during its South American sojourn. Supplied with fractious old aluminum body panels crudely lettered in Spanish. Later independent front suspension, Lancia Lambda rear axle, disc front brakes.

Market commentary

Make of it what you will, this pile of tubing is definitely of Maserati origin. It can only have been acquired in the fervent hope that it can be reassembled into a GP car of the period. An admirable aspiration, however this pile of parts resembles nothing more than an old NASCAR Modified chassis. As the catalog notes, the scribbles on the body make interesting reading.
