Equipment
RHD. Silver painted wire wheels, single aeroscreen with low Plexiglas wind deflector. Matching chassis, engine and gearbox, original body. FIrst owner by Commander John Rutherford, clocked at 134.07mph on the beach at Daytona in 1953. Restored by Peter Jaye and RS Panels in England some time ago for Berkhard von Schenk, now owned by Skip Barber and still in better than new condition. An exceptionally fine example.
Market commentary
As good as a C type gets, unless it has been to Le Mans, and bought reasonably for its conditon, restoration and matching major components.
