239 Ford flathead V8, 3 speed, live axles, transverse leaf spring, roll bar, dual aeroscreens. Reportedly (but without authentication) owned by James Garner and used in Johnny Dark with Tony Curtis. Good recent repaint, excellent interior. Monterey Historics history. Friday primetime number.

Market commentary

Bought from the Mitchell Auto Museum in Owosso, Michigan with history given to us by Mitchell Auto Museum. A neat car in decent and usable condition, valued at this much if only by Steve Earles selection of US Specials as the 2005 feature at the Monterey Historics. Its a reasonable ticket to the show.
