Market commentary
Offered at Gooding & Companys Pebble Beach auction last year where it was a no sale at a reported bid of $3,650,000. It sure looks like it made sense to wait and bring it here, where the bid in Euros is more than the dollar bid at Pebble. The object of a protracted bidding contest that was exactly the right way to end the day. It went to the phone bidder who also bought the 330 TRI LM and the 340 MM, having spent $18,108,950 and created an outstanding Ferrari collection in one short afternoon. 2nd in Class at Ferrari 60 Concours June 2007
