Equipment
Chrysler Hemi with four Zeniths on Cunningham log manifold, three speed, pushbutton radio. Freshly restored to show quality condition. First owner was William A. Burden (who might well have been the William A.M. Burden who commissioned Harry Millers marvelous V16 in 1932). Restored by Jerry Sauls in 2002 after which it won its class at Amelia Island. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Any Cunningham is a wonderful car, even the C3s which Cunningham envisioned as production gran turismos not racing cars. This one has all the right stuff, but the price even if the two Burdens are one in the same is a record for a Cunningham C3, and a record by a factor of four.
