Market commentary
Streamlined and sophisticated for its age, Carroll Shelby could well have slid a 260 Ford into a Bristol and the history of motor racing would be substantially rewritten. He didnt however, and these nifty coupes are largely overlooked in the US. The price paid here reflects this cars sympathetic ownership history and generally good, unrestored, condition. It wouldnt bring this much in the States, but probably should.
