Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

One off built by Richard Bosley on tube chassis, Ford front end, Mercury rear axle and 331 Chrysler Hemi. Very handsome and swoopy and driven 100K miles. Rrestored to PB award winning condition in 1996, polished Halibrand mags, with an invitation to Vuitton New York in place.

Market commentary

The story of the Bosleys concept, design, construction and subsequent use helps establish its bo fides as not only a handsome special but also a practical automobile. This price is a real tribute to Bosleys design and execution, as well as the concours restoration. Most specials struggle to bring high five figures while this one off is up there with freshly restored Lussos.
