Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Repainted over old paint, now with bubbles and chips. Shows some wear but also careful maintenance.
Market commentary
This result is appropriate for an ordinary J2X Cad Allard and is a great value for this car with its Arkus Duntov, factory Le Mans history. Hammered sold at this price after a too clever bidder waited an instant too long to raise his paddle at $110,000. All credit to RM for hewing to their hammer; some auctioneers would have feigned an excuse to re open the bidding.
