Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. 252 150hp Nash engine. Full envelope body, hard tonneau over passengers seat, small drivers windscreen, headrest, silver wire wheels, single driving light. 3rd at Le Mans in 1952 driven by Leslie Johnson and Tommy Wisdom behind only the M B 300SLs. Subsequently raced in the US and eventually carefully restored to its Le Mans configuration. Presented in excellent like new condition with modern safety equipment.

Market commentary

Even at a little over RMs low estimate this is still an excellent value ... probably the least expensive 3rd place overall Le Mans finisher in existence. An instant ticket to just about any race, tour or event. The buyer of this car was very perceptive of real value.
