Equipment
Chrome wire wheels, fender mirrors, dual exhausts, flat lens headlights. Good looking paint, interior and chrome but enough filler or old paint to render it magnet proof. Otherwise superficcally presented. Provided great drama while trying to start it in the tent, popping and banging like a John Deere tractor and finally bursting a freeze plug so violent were the backfires. Probably just as well because when it did run it sounded like a bucket of loose bolts. Sunday Prime Time. No Reserve.
Market commentary
This price is appropriate for a good XK 120, even at this weekends Barrett Jackson Jag prices. For this superficcally restored and badly running example it was a gift. Some mechanic will send his kids to Harvard and Stanford on this Jag.
