Market commentary
It is impossible to overstate the importance of this car, which arguably brought John Fitch to the attention of Briggs Cunningham and paved the way for Fitch''''s long career driving for the best private and factory teams. Also valuable as the first of Fitch''''s many engineering and development successes and a beautifully formed and restored automobile in itself. A remarkable car and a tribute to a remarkable man who this weekend drove himself to Greenwich from his home in Northwest Connecticut.
