Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke wire wheels. First owned by Antonio Checcachi, driven by Scarlatti to 5th place at Naples in 1955. Driven by Alejandro DeTomaso to 9th in the 1957 Argentine GP. Discovered by Alain deCadenet in the early 70s and restored by DK Engineering with 625 engine. A sympathetic restoration to good competition car standards, clean and orderly but with aluminum painted cam covers, magnetos and mag drive casing. Shows some use and age but highly presentable and usable.

Market commentary

This Ferrari should not be a trailer queen. It wants to be driven with enthusiasm and at this price it can be.
