Engine combines a 250 block and crank with 225 heads and ancillaries. Restored to good driving condition in the late 70s with noticeable flaws and shortcuts, mechanically redone in the early 00s.
Market commentary
Sold by RM here in Monterey in 2009 for $710,000 hammer, $781,000 with commission with the engine rebuilt since and 876 more km showing on the odometer, a poor return for the seller but a good buy for the new owner.
