Equipment
RHD. Triple Weber carburetors, outside laced chrome spoke Borranis, wood steering wheel. First owner was Bob Wilke, sponsor of the Leader Card Indy cars. When the original engine broke Chinetti supplied a new one numbered 1499 with 110M overstamp. Interior trim shows age. Seats and carpet very nice. Chips and scratches around but still a nice older restoration. Some orange peel around the fenders. Sweet car, but more original than concours.
Market commentary
This is a classic Ferrari, with a classic history and no stories in classic Ferrari livery which increasingly appeals to Ferrari collectors instead of the boring Red over Tan. The buyer got real history at a modest but realistic price. There is no way not to like this Ferrari a whole heck if a lot.
