Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Silver painted outside laced wire wheels, competition belts, no bumpers, sliding side windows, hood mounted bug deflector. Winner of 1953 Coppa Intereuropa at Monza driven by Franco Cornacchia. Engine replaced in the 70s by Stanley Nowak. Restored some time ago and happily used since, including 8 MM Retros. In good, usable condition showing age and use but also consistent care and attention as needed. Ferrari certification inspection completed but certificate not issued at the time of cataloging.

Market commentary

Want to go to the Historic Mille Miglia, reputedly the top of the heap in historic events This Ferrari will get you there, and cut a wide swath along the route once it arrives. Itll make a similar impression at the Monterey Historics, Elkhart Lake, Le Mans and Goodwood, too. This is serious value for money spent, with no downside. The same cant be said about a Hemi Cuda.
