Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome wire wheels. 51 Paris Motor Show car, 52 Tour de France entry, then to Bob Estes in the States. Disovered in a salvage yard by the present owner in 72, original engine later rescued from a junkyard. Long term restoration paid off with PB 1st in Class. Still impeccable, with show quality cosmetics.

Market commentary

A rare, attractive and exceptionally presented Maserati, bought for a fair price.
