Market commentary
Lincolns like this are rare, with 857 believed to have been built and 19 surviving after a period when their old car value was nil and the value to the scrap yard of all that 'road-hugging weight' was substantial. This survivor has been done to high standards and kept in nearly show quality condition. It is expensive in this transaction, but these Lincolns are difficult and expensive to restore and the price paid for the whole car is less than it would take to reproduce its presentation, so for anyone who wants one this is the way to go and if this is what it took, so be it.
