Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Silver painted wire wheels. Transaxle with deDion rear suspension. One of two V12 51 GP cars, raced with modest success by Rudolf Fischer and Dorino Serafini. Muddy subsequent history until late 80s when it was restored and joined the Ferrari migration to Japan. Now back, in good shape with fair older paint and a several times painted chassis. A very neat car with Alfetta ish bodywork.

Market commentary

This Ferraris minimal race history, with no prominent drivers, restrains its value and it failed to get enough interest today to separate it from its present owner. A great ride, however, for almost any historic event and a significant artifact of Ferrari GP history.
