RHD. Chrome spoke Borranis, dual aeroscreens, lusso trim. Scuderia Ferrari team car. Le Mans 1950 (Lord Selsdon Jean Lucas) dnf, won Montlhery 1000km (Chinetti Lucas), second at Sulverstone Daily Express Trophy (Dorino Serafini). Then sold to Bill Spear in the US. 4th at Watkins Glen and Sebring 6 hours in 1950 (Spear Roberts, Jr.) and in 1952 (OBrien Cicurel), 8th in 53 (Lunken Hassan). Also driven by John Fitch and Phil Walters. A capsule history of early 50s US road racing. Restored in 1995 to better than new condition without being over restored and still impeccable.

Market commentary

Just, simply, a wonderful Ferrari with gorgeous coachwork and a stellar history in the greatest races of the early Fifties. There is nowhere this Ferrari isnt avidly sought as a participant and the buyer paid appropriately for its condition and history.
