Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Rebodied from a derelict Stablimenti Farina cabriolet, probably with 250GT engine replacing the long lost 166 motore. Aero screens, cycle fenders. In very good condition, like Ferrari would have liked to have built 166s, if cash flow wasnt a concern.

Market commentary

A good chassis but the wrong engine. Re creating the (clunky) Stablimenti Farina cabriolet body wouldnt increase the value much. This is just about the highest and best use economics can support, and is a fair buy in an early Ferrari.
