Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Silver wire wheels, alloy Vignale double bubble body. Known as the Fischer Green Star and owned since 1964 by Helmut Fischer. Modified grille and covered headlights, Alfa Giulietta engine, 5 speed Alfa transmission. Historic raced since 1984 with 14 national championships and 130 victories. A unique example and one of only three Abarth 205s known to survive. Well used but sound and with demonstrated performance.

Market commentary

This car looks fast, it looks different and its very special. Has a unique history all its own and is eligible for many important events. At 1900 pounds even with a modestly tuned Giulietta engine it is a healthy performer. No argument with the price paid, even in Dollars.
