Equipment
Turn signals, opening windshield, headlight eyebrows, oak bed floor, cab top clearance lights, disc wheels with trim rings, chrome hubcaps and lug nuts, chrome bumpers. Cosmetically restored, and not very carefully at that. Quick paint, sloppy masking, sharp new bed floor, usable interior. Otherwise largely original. A sound old truck, usable but not very pretty. It will be a standout in the parking lot at Home Depot, however.
Market commentary
The 306 chassis number prefix poses more questions than answers and may be a 1 1 2 ton chassis, a distinction that only a Diamond T expert can make. The price is a home run compared with the usual run of $20K 201 series Diamond T pickups. Judgment on the price is impossible without a more informed evaluation, but the externalities imply a very generous transaction value. Hows that for obscuring ignorance with obfuscation It is, for what its worth, 1.1% of the GM Futurliner at B J.
