Market commentary
No one really knows which of several Continentals out there actually paced the '46 500 but this one has been displayed at the Speedway Museum and driven on track during 2005 Speedway festivities. In this condition this Continental is a $50,000 car and the premium it brought is wholly the result of the 500 Pace Car status. It was acquired at RM's Monterey auction in 2010 for $104,500.
