Equipment
Radio, heater, P top, skirts, wide whitewalls, overdrive. A tired old car. Given a hasty repaint a long time ago. The interior is decent but nothing special. Peeling trim chrome. The only attention the chassis and underbody appear to have received is overspray. A car to be avoided. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Saturday Prime Time. Described as a thorough restoration that now has been driven a bit and still fabulous throughout, which comprehensively misrepresents the cars neglected, superficially treated condition. A later excerpt from the description says it is accurately restored, which is closer to the truth, but even Ford in later 1941 had more integrity than to release a sloppy Continental like this. The buyer paid driver money for a restoration project.
