Market commentary
First of all the '42 model year ended in Febgruary 1942 so 42's are among the most rare of all American cars.Second, no one ever restores a Chevy to this level of fit, finish and function unless its a rare Corvette or COPO. The consignor claimed a 6-figure restoration, and the results do absolutely n-o-t-h-i-n-g to refute that claim. It is far beyond perfect. No one will ever fail to be astounded at this Chevy's quality, nor will any rational buyer fail to be gratified to own it. Good value only partly describes what this '42 Chevy is.
