Condition

Good older restoration, engine replaced about 1970, used and shows it, but that''s what old cars are for. Decent paint and worn interior, panel fits are good, doors close well.

Market commentary

Christies estimate of $8,000-$12,000 seems to be reasonable for this car, which is at best a sound driver. At this price ($19,000 hammer) there''s no upside for the new owner, but nobody forced his hand up and there was an underbidder.
