Equipment

Show quality cosmetics aside from some paint shrinkage on the back of the left front fender. Chassis and underbody are origil. One of two extensively modified and refined by Raymond Loewy for his and his wifes persol use with work performed by Derham. Plexiglas tendelet, porthole quarter windows, skirts, lowered, and more. Comes with correspondence between Loewy and Derham and contemporary articles.

Market commentary

This is a completely unique automobile, the only one of the pair known to survive, and an important design statement. It will always be a significant and appreciated participant in shows. It is as good as the best of Harley Earl, Bill Mitchell or Virgil Exner, and is a sound value at this price.
